One-Year Anniversary & Thanks!

In that time, you've experienced multiple AU brainwashings, an all-out frontal assault by enemy forces, slavery, the Grinch himself, and drama involving sex demons. You've been through a lot, unquestioningly, adventures both great and small.
And that's just IC.
This is a huge OOC thank you from us (me I GUESS MAINLY) the mods (a Chinatown specifically is drafting this in her office) to all players past and present. By now, it's probably a little trite and predictable to say that the game would not be what it is without you guys, because that's necessarily true. It's like crediting the walls for making a house. But you're exactly like that! Foundational, and tough, and bringing something new to the game from each cardinal direction. From the people who helped name the communities and proof the original documentation to our newest members, it's been a treat to work with you.
For all our diverse RP preferences and life experiences as players, Xistentia has come together in a story that's sometimes strange, often sexy, and powerful. From the personal love stories between epic companions to arcs of sordid revenge, we've done so much. It's been really remarkable to see the mix of canons, interests, and styles, and I look forward to seeing more.
SO MUCH GOOD.

This is Clint Barton/Hawkeye, coming to you from right the end of the very first Avengers movie. He's still kinda shook from having his brain hijacked by Loki. (BWAHAHA who's HERE, I'm excited!)
Apologies to canonmates for not introducing myself before apping, but I am so game for your guys potentially having knowledge Clint doesn't yet, and however you want to handle that IC… and just about anything else. ^_^

Required
The check-in takes place every other month. Characters who were accepted during the month of April are exempt; all others are expected to provide activity. Requests for exemption may be PMed to the account.
To pass, you must have:- Written at least 3 tags on a single thread in one of the following places:
- On a post in

xistentia;
- On a Test Drive Meme that has been integrated into game canon;
- On a journal thread from an in-game Inbox or Synchr.
- On a post in
- Be able to summarize your character's recent activities in the world.
All players must respond to this post in one of the following ways:
- Providing full activity.
- Indicating you are exempt because (1) you have been on hiatus for at least one month during the AC period, or (2) your character was accepted within the last month.
- Requesting a Strike.
All players must respond to the post unless they are on hiatus when it is posted.
If you know you are going to be on hiatus, please PM the Mod account to let us know. If you have not also been on hiatus for at least 1 month during the activity period, you will still need to either provide activity, or request a Strike when you contact us.
If you do not respond to the post, and you have not contacted the Mods to let us know, you will be automatically swept from the game once Check-In has closed.
NOTE: If you have any exceptional circumstance which has prevented you from making activity, please PM the Mod account to discuss.
STRIKES - HOW DO THEY WORK?
If you request a Strike, you must provide full activity at the next Check-In. If you fail to do so you will be swept from the game. If you need to be on hiatus during the next AC period, this is fine! You will be able to be exempt from the next Check-In, but your Strike will remain and you will need to provide full activity at the following Check-In before it will be cleared.
It is up to you as the player to tell us that you do not have activity and need to take a Strike. You must do so via response to the Check-In post. If you do not respond to the Check-In post at all, we will sweep you from the game and you will need to re-apply to Xistentia if you still wish to play.
If you are swept, you will be able to apply for the same character again right away. However, if you idle out multiple times, the Mods may contact you to discuss activity before considering any new applications.

Mar. 18th, 2018 09:06 amcryfrustrationHi all. o/ I'm Hibari and I'm bringing in this chap, Vrenille. He's an OC from the MMO Guild Wars 2. For anyone who knows the game, he's not the Pact Commander/PC; he's just a guy from Tyria. He's a mesmer, which in GW2 terms means he's a mind mage/illusionist type--he can't control or dominate people, but he can mess with perceptions, stretch time a bit, and make (solid) illusionary clones of himself. Also purple butterflies.
Vrenille's a very people-savvy kind of guy, grew up on the street and is a little rough around the edges. He lived most of his life by his wits before he was "adopted" by a guild of adventurers who trained him. So here he's pretty much going to throw himself into anything that seems like it will save his peeps and his home.
I'm still fixing up his journal with Xistentia info, but here's his synchr and the inbox for his daemon, which is a little white-furred rat-person thing. You can also hit me up on plurk or via PM for plotting or whatevs. Looking forward to playing with you folks!
