About them: he's terrible but here's his backstory.
Current plans: gonna go sailing with Rafa, the current vampire he's courting. gonna bite Wyatt because he likes biting puppies. manipulating pretty much everyone else.
Desired CR: negative, positive, "blood donors", sexy biting (his bites can give orgasms, woo!), people asking him questions- he enjoys answering questions when they aren't obviously biased against vampires.
Not looking for: people discovering his connection with D.E.S.T.I.N.Y. just yet, i'd like him to keep going undetected for longer. random battles, i'd like a point to any fight that he might have, such as furthering a plot or a relationship. romance, he has his eye on someone. he'll be more open to further romance later, so i don't mind sowing some seeds now but nothing major... so like, slow burn is good (vampires only for this, or other supernatural entities who may wish to become a vampire).

I feel like maybe there could also be a funny incident where Ignacio has a go at biting John and accidentally hurts his teeth? John is bulletproof, so I think it's hard to bite him. NOT SURE how this would work though, maybe Iggy just thinks John is someone else who he has a standing sexy hunt arrangement with and then John is like ????????????

About them: grumpy mcgrumperpants. well, ok, he's not so bad lately but he's still being pretty reclusive.
Current plans: he has none. u_u he's talking about future plans with his boyfriend Wyatt, but other than that he's been pretty damn introverted which is very unlike his usual self. the sad part is that he's actually a lot happier than he was last year. there's also some weddings he's gotta attend (GROAN)
Desired CR: he hasn't been making enough new friends, so new friends may be nice, but he's prickly and sarcastic so it's more difficult for him. adventuring plots would be good for him!
Not looking for: romance, he's taken and doesn't want any more. one night stands, he's not doing those anymore.

About them: Personality ☘ Stereotypical self-sacrificing hero-type that will almost always go out of her way to help people with pretty much anything.
Current plans: Still feeling like a failure after her most recent canon update. Enjoying having her other handsome giraffe BFF around again even if it's Estinien. Getting married to Aymeric on May 5th! Then eventually going to end up in a weird poly-thing with Estinien as the third wheel because Estinien is Estinien and Aymeric and Era love him despite that. Yay, BFFs!?
TL;DR Era has lots of feelings and doesn't know what to do about them because feelings are confusing and stupid.
Desired CR: Anything not romance! Friendship, found-family, mentoring (mentor or mentee), whatever!
Not looking for: Romance or sexual relations (she's not about that life)

Marcos
About them: He's a mutant who's basically a human sun. He manipulates light, storing it in his blood and shooting it out of his hands. He's spent most of his life working outside of the law in various ways, but his calling now is helping mutants to escape the authorities back home. His experiences have left him distrustful of authority so he's not F.A.T.E.S.' biggest fan.
Current plans: Stay close to John and Sonya, both friends from home who are here now. Work out his issues with estranged girlfriend and also housemate, Lorna Dane. Figure out how to get out of this place while attempting not to involve himself in F.A.T.E.S.' war (note: it's not going well so far).
Desired CR: More friends, especially people who share his opinion of F.A.T.E.S. Mainly I need to get Marcos out there more.
Not looking for: Romance - his life is already complicated enough on that front.
Rafa
About them: 500 year old vampire king, at your service. He's gay and polygamous; two out of three of his husbands are in game. He runs a blood bar (stocked with cloned blood from volunteers) to service the needs of the vampire community here.
Current plans: Going on a boat ride with Ignacio! Trying to teach Kavinsky how to vampire properly, trying to romance Loki. Avoiding Vex, who he broke up with recently. Continuing to manage his business. Also he's in charge of organising the Solangelo wedding and he'll be a high key perfectionist about it as that gets closer. Watch this space! He'll also be attending Rosie and Vanyel's wedding, most likely.
Desired CR: Other vampires, people who want to use and/or donate to his blood bar, friends. Romance is always on the table with Rafa, so long as your character can accept his polygamy. There's also potential for him to turn your character into a vampire, but that would involve building up significant positive CR first.
Not looking for: Negative CR is possible with Rafa, but I'll warn you that he's more likely to walk away from it than engage in a feud with anyone. He'll have absolutely no time for you if you dislike vampires or dislike him because he is one. This isn't really a thing I'm not looking for, it's just a warning that Rafa himself won't seek it out. I'm happy to play out the interaction, but he's likely to avoid your character rather than engage in longterm negative CR.
Wyatt
About them: American teenage werewolf, recently adopted by Hunter Lawson. He's from the same world as Rafa and was brought by Hunter to be part of the pack allied to Rafa's kingdom. Wyatt's background involved him being cast out of his original pack while still a young teenager, after which he lived homeless on the streets of New York until Hunter found him. He has some abandonment issues because of this. He's currently dating and living with Vex.
Current plans: He's starting to think about his future, namely whether he wants to some day become a hybrid werewolf/vampire like Hunter. He's also thinking about the things he'd want to do first, and whether Vex will be there to do those things with him. His longterm priority is to get back to the rest of his pack. He also helps Shane to grow things on his farm and look after the space cow baby that Wyatt adopted a few vlogs ago.
Desired CR: Other werewolves and supernaturals in general. Wyatt and Vex have a semi-open relationship, in which they're open to sex/friends with benefits but not to romance. He's very friendly but fair warning, he tends to be clingy once he likes you. Also, if your character likes alcohol and/or narcotics, Wyatt wants to know them.
Not looking for: People who will turn him into small rabbits! He's already done that once and it wasn't cool and he's not letting it go, okay.

About them: Loki is a neurotic god of mischief. he likes playing tricks, sarcasm and getting under people's skins but he really wants attention, love and constant praise. Info on his profile.
Current plans: Not much! Now that Loki's secret is sort of out in the open, he's going to look into rebuilding himself and maybe finding a real goal for him to follow in Xist beyond simply being around.

About them: The hottest of messes, Rose is someone who feels a lot but pretends she doesn't and never talks about those feelings ever. She's gotten genuinely more confident over the past couple of years but still struggles with some insecurities (namely jealousy these days) and carries a lot more on her own than she probably should.
Current plans: GETTING MARRIED! Maybe. She's going to have to see if that's still a thing that's happening after the forced confessions cause a fight with her fiance about her fate back home. She's also losing one boyfriend and very unhappy about it so will likely focus her attention on the one remaining and other possible romantic options to cope like a healthy, functional adult.
Desired CR: E V E R Y T H I N G. Rose is poly and basically looking to have a harem apparently, so! Romance, friendship, found family!! It's all my jam. I also love negative CR as Rosie tends to put her foot in her mouth a lot like a big loser and needs to learn the hard way generally about any given thing so

About them: A nerdy pansexual mage with the soul of a dragon; enjoys cooking, reading, nerding about magic, long walks, spoiling his and Rose's five squillion dogs
Current plans: Well right now he and Rose are having Words about things that happened on her recent canon update - specifically, her brilliant idea of killing herself in a bid to weaken the enemy leader. Some time soon, he's gonna nip home and deal with the last couple crises on his plate in his own world so he can follow her to hers and put a stop to that nonsense. Also in the near future, he might finally open that pub he's been thinking about. And, sometime in June, he and Rose will be getting married.
Desired CR: Literally any. Theirs is still an open relationship, impending nuptials or no, so sex/fwb/even romance aren't entirely off the table? Though with Farraige leaving and considering he has two other people he's madly in love with waiting for him back home, the third option is... not super likely, tbh. But also, more platonic friends are always nice - people to spar with, talk magic or alchemy or whatever else with, adventure buddies.

Ohhh man, that would be so neat. I'd never really thought about whether Xist/F.A.T.E.S. could translate Shouts before - but now that I am, I tend to think not, or at least not entirely? Considering it's plot point that 90% of everybody have to study for years to use/understand it...

Yeah! I think it would make sense that F.A.T.E.S. wouldn't, but it also would make sense if it did...
As for Era, given that the Echo translates the soul and I know for a fact that the Dragonborn has a soul she would understand it but definitely not be able to speak it. She'd want to learn more about it for sure though - like the theory and info behind it, because the lore sounds super fascinating!

Oof, yeah, that *would* make the practical side a little tricky even just to demonstrate, wouldn't it. He'd prob be okay just learning theory though, tbh - he's done that a *lot* with the other mages/wizards/warlocks/etc he's met so far.
But yay for Red Magic!! His lowkey goal is to learn things he could apply back home, in particular, so that works especially well. He might also pick her brain re: killing god-level enemies, if this happens after his... uh... *discussion* with Rose on the event log.
Yeah, I think F.A.T.E.S. would be able to provide... a rough translation, at best? like not entirely comparable synonyms, wonky but understandable grammar on longer phrases, that sort of thing. Because the dragons do also use it as just, like, a language - but we're never shown Ulfric or the Greybeards or anyone *but* dragons being able to do that, so ???
Lore and theory are still totally doable, though, for sure, even if she can't learn the actual language. ^.^

About them: Smol fighty vampire nobleman from a post-Apocalyptic world, goals before Xistentia included stopping the merry band of jackasses who want to start Apocalypse #2. Hotheaded, trying to improve on that. Recovering tsundere.
Current plans: Um. I honestly have done very little plotting with him re: this event. He could get involved in the cleanup from the psy-bomb if there's still room for more volunteers on that? His only real secret he's been keeping is his Doomed Love (TM) for a human girl back home, so he could always just awkwardly blurt that out to all sundry.
Desired CR: Friends! Enemies! Other vampires who have no hang-ups about the word and could maybe teach him to vampire properly, since he's a lame-o who's only ever drunk blood substitute mixed into his wine. :p Romance is possible, but considering his hangups and trust issues, likely to be very slow burn. Sparring partners! Negative CR too - that's much easier to get with him than with Van, tbh.

About them: John is a US Marine Corps veteran as well as a mutant freedom fighter, in a world where people with genetic anomalies (and special abilities) face oppression that might someday turn into outright genocide. He is righteously principled, avoids unnecessary killing at almost all costs, and likes to wear rather closely-fitted shirts. Habits that actually followed him through the Panultima plot, which was his introduction to this game! Although he tends to put The Cause before personal pleasure, he's been known to make 'mistakes' before.
Current plans:
- Establish reunion dynamics with his castmates, including Marcos, Lorna, and Sonya
- Find him a job, probably just paramilitary defense operations in the city
- Maybe side-eye Rafaello d'Este a little, he cute and kind.
Desired CR: Positive and negative both appreciated! Though he is generally an honorable and righteous person, John has a bit of a temper. He also tends to come off a little judgmental, and he's not entirely above manipulating people or avoiding conflict if he thinks that it's for a righteous cause. He's frequently available for combat training, especially with regard to building up your ability to control your powers!Not looking for: I'm actually pretty open! Hit me and we'll figure it out.

About them: Kavinsky is canonically a creepy, kidnapping asshole, addicted to cocaine and saying vile stuff about women and consent, as well as actively suicidal. After two years of CRAU in Eudio, however, he's changed a little, better able to cope with his self-loathing and capable of recovering from heartbreak. That being said, he's still tremendously selfish and lashes out at others, especially if he cared about them and believes they'd hurt him first. The fact he boasts an incredibly potent superpower doesn't help.
Current plans: Follow through on long-term shippy plans with Kurt and short-term shippy plans with Ignacio, continue with deeply dysfunctional 'found family' programming involving his sire and other friends, piss off a lot of people. There's also a general long-term trajectory to establish and improve himself as a moral individual, with genuine regret for past misconduct over ~3 years of RP!
Desired CR: Positive and negative, I'm good with whatever! Negative CR is generally easy to get because Kavinsky is horrible.
Not looking for: Endgame shipping. I can do some flings, distractions, and maybeee someday we'll be up for threesomes, but we otherwise have this locked down.

About them: Tony Stark is a billionaire genius playboy something something, which he canonically likes to talk a lot about. He's profoundly egotistical, but also has an immense sense of personal responsibility and dedication to paying penance for the way that his inventions had caused terrible violence in his own world. In most ways, he has no sense of propriety at all— but at the end of the day, if the math comes down to his life or those of other people and there are no more clever tricks to play, he'll choose to lay it down to protect others.
Current plans: He runs a mechanical workshop in town and will continue to do so, experimenting with the emotion conversion technology copied from F.A.T.E.S. (always in need of guinea pigs!) and peripherally keeping an eye on little Spider-man, Peter. He's also dating Commander Shepard. Lucky bastard.
