MAJOR BULLETIN: Fantasy Quest Event, Reminders

By now, the Mirror event has ended and all characters affected by the virus will be returning to normal. However, the virus did its job, causing significant damage to F.A.T.E.S.' defences. As a result, D.E.S.T.I.N.Y. has been able to prepare an attack, and this month, will be pulling characters into the next prison world, a fantasy setting where characters will find themselves facing up against numerous foes in their quest to escape.

Event: Fantasy Quest

Welcome to the fourth Prison World - the land of Mahyrst, a fantasy world not unlike your favourite MMORPG. Adventurers will begin in the city of Haybrook. There are the laziest of cattle and people milling about their everyday lives. It’s almost picture perfect peace but it isn’t long before you can see what is amiss. The shadows come at night, corrupting the lay of this otherwise harmonious land. Can you help them, brave adventurer, before it's too late and the Shadow Queen dooms them all?

Hot on the heels of the Mirror event, the latest Prison World will see characters adopted into their very own fantasy adventure, Dungeons and Dragons style. They'll have new sets of skills and strengths to choose from, and just like in a real RPG, they'll choose from a range of character classes. The adventures and quests they undertake may even lead them into a showdown with the Shadow Queen herself - an Agent of D.E.S.T.I.N.Y. connected directly to the virus that spawned the Mirror event. If you were looking for revenge, now is the time.

Rule Clarifications

Our "playercest" rule has been modified/clarified to mean the following, with our apologies for any confusion:

Alts can cohabit, have sex, or work together, but only 1 of those 3, handwaved, and with little to no emotional investment. They may have at maximum 30 minutes of conversation per day.

Additionally, we are removing duplicates from play. Thus, if a character from a specific canon has already been apped to the game, no one else may play a copy of that character. This change was made in part because this rule has not been used yet.

Latest Icebreakers

The icebreaker announced last month will remain active throughout June! As many icebreakers before, this one is a glitch, potentially posted without your character's explicit consent by their daemon. As such, the information it contains may be woefully inaccurate.

Note, you may want to try the generators themselves, but using the randomizer will likely lead to gibberish.
