about: xanatos gambit asshole-with-a-heart-of-asshole who has been a guttersnipe and criminal since he was a kid. smells like new money, dresses like fake royalty. tells three lies in "two truths and a lie". too much ptsd for skin-to-skin contact. pretends his cane is for show when it isn't. believes revenge is a dish best served obsessively, over the course of a lifetime.

plans: make currency a thing again and then have a lot of it; start a speakeasy-style casino to encourage more venture capitalism; figure out human relationships because they're his only way of saving his friends, but without letting anyone see that he's actually a disaster-zone; team up for special attack.

desired cr:
TEAMWORK. kaz will never say no to a mission, though he might try and assert himself as leader.
DATES. specifically patient people willing to teach him how to people while dealing with him just ghosting if he has a panic attack.
CASINO EMPLOYEES AND PATRONS. this will be my focus for this month in terms of posts and stuff so it's an easy way to establish initial cr if your character would be interested.
MEMORIES. kaz doesn't touch people ever, but he is going to be super interested in snooping anything other people share.

but not:
i'm actually way down for negative cr and ships but kaz isn't a pleasant character so if you end up in either of those categories threading might require a touch more communication and a willingness to not take his absolute dickheadery personally.

man i feel like they are likely to maybe struggle to get along which could be fun since kaz is definitely (platonically) intrigued by magnus with all his talk of magic/rosie gossiping about him. i'm willing to roll with whatever tho, we should do something! maybe a rainy day scenario? i'm still writing my toplevel so i could toss you a closed starter if you like.

i'd also love stuff with sombra bc im love her (and the fact that youre writing her as a lesbian also. GOOD STUFF!!!), but that might be even more of a trial and error thing. ill see if i can toss alec her way sometime, maybe during the next event if you'd like.

hey actually not to jump horses midrace but kaz and alec are both doing team island exploration and china wants people to end up in smaller groups, that could be an awesome easy way to kickstart this cr if you want!

also sombra is way easier to get cr with i fully intend for her to just be up in everybody's business on the network. just how good is your daemon cybersec, alec?

oh man, yes. kaz basically starts to have horrible flashbacks about dead bodies touching him and then loses control and punches people, so just being able to calm down and move past that would go a looooong way to helping him be open to a physical relationship. ♥___♥

My main QUANDARY is who I'm going to ship with Kaz?? Obviously Kavinsky is a hilarious slut who will bother anyone to death, freshly equipped with vampire teeth, which he could totally get stabbed for trying. But Janus is a friendly murderer, and sometimes it's better when they're friendly. DO YOU HAVE A LE PREFERENCE.

teamwork and memories would be great things to mess around with. kurt's got more than a few things he likes to keep close to his chest and i'm all for his new xist companions learning about them without his knowing. fdsj;kl and teamwork is something he's been learning a lot about being a fresh new baby x-man. it'd be interesting to see how he would try and make kaz work with himself and/or other people!

i was going to put 'dates' on there, then i imagined how awkward they would both probably be, since kurt also lacks a solid understanding of people skills ... but then i thought about how patient and kind kurt is and like MAYBE??? idk haha

he would definitely understand kaz's panicky reaction by ghosting, though, and would have no problems talking about it. (it sounds a lot like something he would do, to be honest.)
