Aside from the unique item, Ezekiel also begins to have a prophetic dream. This dream starts out with normal bizarre dream content, but then begins to feature hints of future peacetime, focusing particularly on interpersonal relationships, platonic and romantic. However, at the crux of any significant dream-conversation, before exposition can truly occur (e.g., before the l-word or the invitation to the date), the other individual begins to talk about the Temple and urge the character to open the black door.

Should the characters go to the Temple, the door does exist, and must be unlocked by the two prizewinners together. Within, they will discover an array of stone plinths like beds, with ghostly holographic interfaces where daemons can connect. Characters' daemons will tell them that this allows residents of Xistentia to share their minds, including but not limited to the exchange of memories. This inherently strengthens the defenses of Xistentia.
