Character name and canon: Jace | Shadowhunters

About them: Jace is a Shadowhunter, meaning he's a kind of supernatural soldier whose job is protecting the Earth from demons. He is covered in black tattoo-like runes, which give him various powers and abilities. He's recently discovered that he has angel blood, due to being experimented on while in utero. It's complicated and he probably won't ever talk about it, but it along with his (excessive) (and brutal) training makes him even more lethal than your standard Shadowhunter. He has some ingrained biases regarding humans (who he calls Mundanes) and supernaturals like werewolves, vampires, seelie, warlocks, etc (who he calls Downworlders). He's also gone through a great deal of personal trauma lately which he hasn't fully gotten over, despite doing his best to feel nothing about it. He is notably close to the other Shadowhunters from his world; Alec Lightwood, his best friend and soulbonded parabatai (it's complicated), Alec's husband Magnus Bane, and Clary Fairchild, his ex-girlfriend who currently thinks that she's his sister. She's not. (It's even more complicated.)

Current plans: Jace's priority is protecting the people here, and finding a way to combat D.E.S.T.I.N.Y so that he can get home. He'll be working with Alec to help set up the defence of the city and will also help others to train if that's useful.

Desired CR: Allies! Maybe friends? Jace can be difficult to get properly close to, though if you can manage it he's very loyal. I'd love for people here to get closer to him than he expects.

Not looking for: He's currently single and will be quick to try charming the ladies, but his heart belongs to Clary. Serious shipping with him is unlikely to happen because of that.

I'm actually surprised by how well Jace and Jaden are already getting along! Jace likes him so far, and I think he'll like Ronan as well once they get away from the Spidermarvel world!

Since they retain memories from the AU, Ronan and Jace could cross paths and be awkward?

I think maybe they're getting along because they seem to be pretty alike and he doesn't feel like Jace is trying to pry so much than learning to know about his world? Idk, they hit it off well I'm happy ^_^

Also yes they did hit it off well, it's good! Jace isn't always wonderful at getting along with people but he and Jaden have done well :)
