Character name and canon: Jace Herondale | Shadowhunters

About them: Jace is a Shadowhunter, meaning he's a kind of supernatural soldier whose job is protecting the Earth from demons. He is covered in black tattoo-like runes, which give him various powers and abilities. He's recently discovered that he has actual angel blood - if your character would pick up on that, feel free! He has some ingrained biases regarding humans (who he calls Mundanes) and supernaturals like werewolves, vampires, seelie, warlocks, etc (who he calls Downworlders). He's also gone through a great deal of personal trauma lately which he hasn't fully gotten over, despite doing his best to feel nothing about it. He is notably close to the other Shadowhunters from his world; Alec Lightwood, his best friend and soulbonded parabatai (it's complicated), Alec's husband Magnus Bane, and Clary Fairchild, his girlfriend.

Current plans: Since the last CR meme Jace has been canon updated. Some terrible things happened to him while he was home, and while he hasn't said anything about it, it's changed his attitude to this place. He's looking to put down some roots here, particularly with Clary. I'm not sure whether or not I'll send him to Whoville because I know I want to take both Wyatt and Rafa there. Lbr this is mostly because I'm not sure where Clary will be yet - he'll stay with her, one way or the other!

Desired CR: Allies! Maybe friends? Jace can be difficult to get properly close to, though if you can manage it he's very loyal. I'd love for people here to get closer to him than he expects.

Given both Arrow and Shadowhunters being into arrows as weapons something to play with? And adding you on Plurk as well.

Unfortunately the archer is not Jace, but his (now missing) parabatai Alec! Jace is more of a swords and knives man. I imagine they'd still have something to talk about though!
