she's not totally sure they're even there yet when she's from, but! at least he didn't refuse. and she doesn't mind the look he's giving her - she's used to people dressing her down, especially since she moved to Riverdale. people still don't seem to know what to make of her most of the time, and it's clear that Jughead's still there, somehow. so it doesn't make her feel self conscious, mostly just amused. even if it's a little sad, too. they've been through a lot, it's weird to think he might not feel that same sense of familiarity and protectiveness that she does.
but yes, she does need a hug, so when he gives her permission and starts to open his arms, she's there in a heartbeat, hugging him tight. friendship hug. it's the kind of hug you give somebody you're too glad to see, like it's been months when it's really only been about a day. tops. she lets him go a little quicker than she'd like, just for the sake of his brain not imploding from confusion. she's selfish, but not that selfish. ]

[ she smiles a bit before stepping past him into the apartment, because inviting herself in seems to be the right thing to do now. she unclasps her cape/cloak thing and drapes it over the bend of her elbow, resisting the urge to take a look around and see what kind of space he and Betty have set up for themselves ( she can wait. ..she can ) and instead just looks back to Jughead, maybe dressing him down a bit now too. like maybe she can spot the differences between them, deduce somehow what he's been through and what he doesn't know yet. ]
