she announces her arrival with a quick knock on the door, hands back in the pockets of her coat quickly after. despite her efforts to seem completely Cool about all of this, a smile that reaches her eyes spreads across her face once Jug answers the door, relieved. spending time with Archie and Betty made it almost too easy to calm her nerves about all this, but seeing Jughead, apparently, is helping just the same. it surprises her for a split second, but why should it? the four of them can take on anything. that's just what best friends do. ]
